The Oriel Hotel is well-priced and homey, with amazingly nice staff on the reception desk. the breakfast is delicious, and the food is brilliant. the location is marvelous, in an area we have visited many times over the years. It is really close to Prestatyn and Rhyl, with many areas for sightseeing nearby.

Suite was top-class and airy.

Bob
The hotel was in a central setting to the conservatory where dogs are allowed. Moreover, it was just off St Asaph's lovely cathedral, the bar / restaurant and the centre of stasaph.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were very unhelpful.

Nice sized room - didnt hear the wedding taking place that night which was great. Nice to have the pool/gym and nice quiet country location
Manager seemed a bit snooty. Had lunch with a relative at lunchtime, restaurant absolutely dead quiet - no music no atmosphere and not much attention from staff as concentrating on wedding. steam room in gym area not working properly.
